About me

I'm a front-end developer from from Los Angeles, California. I’ve been in the development industry for about 10 years now. I constantly thrive on creating interactive and intuitive digital experiences.

In my free time I try to sharpens my skills in development, and I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come and exited to learn more. My most recent company is Hollar an e-commerce site. Our stack started off on Ruby on Rails and a little over 2 years later we eventually began porting over the app to React/Elixir/GraphQL. The daily task were challenging yet rewarding. It was nice to see our app mature and at the same time learn new thing over the last 4 years.

Previously before working at Hollar I was working for a digital marketing agency. We worked closely with companies such as FOX Television, Jack in the Box, Disney/ABC Television Group, and Colgate. These early day experiences and tight deadlines helped me set the foundation for timely work ethic.

When I’m not coding, you can find me geeking out over comic books, science, basketball, playing video games (and finishing them), and most importantly spending quality time with my family and friends.

Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in you life" and I completely agree. I'm grateful that I was able to make a career and living out of something that I am truly passionate about.
